Underworld Adventurer

Armeen of the Twin Lakes came through with coin from selling the crystal beetle the Dragon Slayer's captured just in time to bail Petra P out of Orm's dungeons. The elfin adventurer had gotten swept up in a raid when carousing in one of Orm's assorted unlicensed watering holes. Her absence noted when it came time to split up shares of the sale. A quarter of the party's members lingered at the Drinking Crow and hatched plans of return to 'The Complex'. A scheme involving a door and the dungeon's reverse waterfall was tabled in favor of Armeen's dreams of rolling out of the Iron Gate of the Rani with a bronze head seen floating on Level 3.  The Dragon Slayers discussion around the Complex always seems to come back to their plans to poison the forces of the Eye of Terror and killing the Eye themself. The conversation circled back to a classic concern that the Eye could probably replace any forces they poison. As for battling the Eye of Terror specifically, the formattable Copra Kaan raised concerns over the party's ability to defeat the tyrant at the group's current strength. That the Burning Witch , the adventurers PakPak and Journeyman Crannoc were over heard swapping stories about recent delves into a mysterious "Great Cavern". The wild stories caught the interest of the gensai Exodi who thought it better to test himself in delves closer to the surface than get mixed-up with a party exploring this expansive but dangerous underworld. Were these conversations the prelude to an expedition to this cavern jungle that seems to unreal to be truth? One was not seen leaving from the Witch .  The adventurers that gathered at the Drinking Crow were in a somber mood. Amu Iben was dead. His retainer Rex had made off with all of his worldly possessions. Father Bert has off preparing for Amu's final rites and burial. This is the state that a young green cleric of Danu named Armeen found the group. The acolyte was only now arriving in Orm on assign to take of the duties at the shrine founded by the deceased Rustam of the Twin Lakes. The very average cleric of Danu: Armeen The party was eager to introduce Armeen to the adventuring life. While they had plans to try to kill the Eye of Terror themself and other plans to poison his forces on Level 1, they were wearing of taking on both tasks without Father Bert. Joining them would be the mutant they saved on their delve, the gray-blue furred Agera who Crambo has taken under his wing as a retainer.  The last few weeks, a group of adventurers from the Burning Witch have been stockpiling supplies-food and drink. No one else quite sure why. After feeling like they had gathered enough, they decided to head out from the Burning Witch towards the ruins of Orm-Of-Old. No too long afterwards, they were seen in the lobby of the Athenaeum of the Dying Sun playing around with a pair of 'stalls" that have been sitting around for the last week or so. After depositing 3gp between the two machines, the party ended up with a bottle of a bubbly drink called 'Fizzy Fizz', a second bright green drink called 'Power Sip Bold' and a pair of cakes or buns packed together under a clear film of some sort. The strange writing on the packages were translated by GaWoosh. The gnome and Hate Pit were overheard saying that they were going to save their drinks for those "Lion-dudes". Another week and another plan to defeat the Eye of Terror by the Dragon Slayers that frequent the Drinking Crow . The group decides to try to make good on their promises to the Brothers to slay the eye of terror. They party is one adventurer larger. All the tales floating around the Burning Witch of a renaissance in delves into dungeon underworld known around the tavern as 'The Complex' had a trio of members of the Athenium of the Dying Sun  plotting a return to the adventuring life. While they had no deeper plan than once again tempting fate in exchange for adventure, their talk of harassing the Eye of Terror and their territory through the use of an elevator accessible through the Great Cavern inspired a four-armed Mutant Formerly (and Currently) Known As Krang to join them.
