Dragon Slayers of The Drinking Crow- To The Crystal Pear Tree

The adventurers that gathered at the Drinking Crow were in a somber mood. Amu Iben was dead. His retainer Rex had made off with all of his worldly possessions. Father Bert has off preparing for Amu's final rites and burial. This is the state that a young green cleric of Danu named Armeen found the group. The acolyte was only now arriving in Orm on assign to take of the duties at the shrine founded by the deceased Rustam of the Twin Lakes.

The very average cleric of Danu: Armeen

The party was eager to introduce Armeen to the adventuring life. While they had plans to try to kill the Eye of Terror themself and other plans to poison his forces on Level 1, they were wearing of taking on both tasks without Father Bert. Joining them would be the mutant they saved on their delve, the gray-blue furred Agera who Crambo has taken under his wing as a retainer. The following group forgot a pair of dungoen terriers at the Burning Witch as the left towards the Iron Gate of the Rani discussing designs on exploring more of Level 2:

  • Armeen of the Twin Rivers (Level 1 Cleric of Danu)
    • Chauncy (Level 0 Orphan hireling)
  • Copra Kaan (Level 6 Vay Spawn)
  • Crambo (Level 4 Magic-User)
    • Agera (Level 0 mutant retainer)
  • Petra P. (Level 2 Elf)
    • Sed-Thaan (Level 1 Paladin hireling)
  • Willow The Wisp (Level 3 Illusionist)
The group were seen dragging Sed-Thaan out of the Iron Gate on top of his own tower shield a few hours later. Petra's sequenced coat was a total mess and covered in the elf's blood yet she didn't seem to have a scratch on her. 22gp were paid in taxes to the Rani. Petra paid 100gp wereguild to the 111th Company for the deceased Sed-Thaan.

The follow note was found in the Drinking Crow covered in a strange ichor:

Copra Kään’s To-Do List:

-Meet a new companion.
-Enter The Complex.
-See some Brothers hanging out.
-Kill ten guards (and explode some of their heads).
-Lose a living wall.
-Go down the pit.
-Get some hard fruit.
-Kill some vampire frogs.
-Explore some caves.
-Free some Brothers from gibbets.
-Pay the stupid tax.

Inspired by the successes of the very-average Armeen of the Twin Rivers, Chauncy decided to follow the path in the clergy of Danu. The young one then immediately went to celebrate by carousing for with first time on the finest Orm has to offer. As he celebrate, Chauncy teased tale of this exploits with the Dragon Slayers. He told of the poor guard brothers turned into grisly examples by the Eye of Terror. He praised the combat prowess of Armeen and Petra P. whose strikes would make the heads of the monstrous foot soldiers of the Eye of Terror explode upon impact. He marveled at the antaur Copra Kaan's ability to survive being turned into a living pin cushion by enemy spears. He described in sensual detail the dungeon delicacies known to those on the surface as 'crystal pears'. He painted pictures with his words of unexplored dungeon river caves teeming with unknown flora and fauna. But most of all, he shared how inspiring it was to see such an incredibly average person like Armeen excel under the blessings of the mother of the primordial waters Danu.
