Underworld Adventurer

 Here is a drawing from my sketchbook of the quartet of Lunar Elves a party brought to the Burning Witch after Session #60 . While Kerdrim Sarya and her subordinates Taar Zandro and Kintiar Naevys currently stand vigilant over a portal to Lonar somewhere on Level 3 of the Complex, Kintiar Ruvan perished on the groups return to the Complex in Session #62.

  It has taken a year, but news of the wonders brought up from the underworld known to the adventurers in Orm as 'The Complex' have reached across the Cerulean Sea to the courts of the Holy-Empire-That-Is. Some speculate that it was through missives home by the now-deceased Sir Rolf Van Pattyn. Regardless of the rumors origins, they caught the interest of the Order of the Curopalate. In the months that the adventuring population of Orm have scattered themselves to the wind around Ur-Dun, a plenipotentiary from the Order has arrived in the City-State and have set up in one of the ruins closest to the settlement-proper. The visitor is reportedly Clavis, Duke of Far Anterra. The Duke, like all in his order, is a devotee to the Seven Archons of Law. He is interested in any relics related to the Church of Law or its Archons as well as exotic arms and items pertaining to the study of the heavenly bodies above.  It took a lot of labor but the treasure hunting quartet of Crannoc, Fancy, GaWoosh, and Phasmo were able to get out cart loads of treasure from the Tomb of the Third Warden. To recuperate from delve into the Tomb (here in Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 ), the group spent some downtime in Soot Hill where they stayed at the old Woosh Stead. Crannoc and Phasmo tried their hand at mushroom hunting in the nearby hills with mixed results. Fancy trained Phasmo's horse Cadmium to come when called with a special whistle. GaWoosh began to study the song written on the blade of his magical dagger with his father, PaWoosh. During this time, the party came into the company of a local druid named Hirsch who decided to join them in their travels south from Soothill. The group decided to travel by the old imperial road that runs through Sourwood Marsh to avoid possible run ins with the blood drinking raiders that plague the region's water ways. They quickly found out from the locals of Soot H

It had been a long time since anyone had ventured into the Complex. With adventurers traveling out to the City-States of Kouz and Barbasso, heading north to Soot Hill, and to the Twilight Shores; there just weren't enough of them in Orm to mount another expedition. It wasn't until a group returned from the Twilight Shores, heavy with the news of Scamandros' death, that it changed. With Scamadnros' passing came the arrival of his cousin, the holy man Kasalkor. Adorned in animal skins and bearing a mark that identified him as Scamandros' heir, the cleric of Gmork was ready to take up his deceased relatives line of work. Fancy Jean Yves Beauvolier, GaWoosh, Journeyman Crannoc, and Phasmo had left Orm to travel north on business unknown to the rest of the regulars of the Burning Witch . While the imaginations of the tavern's adventuring regulars became possessed by wild hypothesizes about what the quartet were up to, events of recent months had been too large to be forgotten.
