Burning Witch Adventurers Session #69- Map Quest Part 4

The following party stood gathered around a cavern hidden by a heavy gray curtain:

In the cave, six skeletons in dark robes occupied a ring of seats around a stained fire pit. One seat as open. Crannon found a rock of pink crystal in the robes of one of the deceased. He decided to take his place in the empty chain as he inhale the fumes from the heated crystals. He found himself drifting off to a strange real that mirrored the space the party was in. The party methodically hauled out the assorted treasures from the dungeon because using their cart and pack animals to make their way back to Soot Hill.

Treasure

  • Book stolen from PaWoosh entitled "Cwedri a Crî", a gnomic musical about the history of the dagger Sapthacris filled with black humor and a score composed for banjo, fiddle, singing saw, recorder, and a ten-piece percussion section worth 100gp
  • The talking skull of the necromancer Werthos (claimed by Journeyman Crannoc)
  • Rock of Holding- when placed on paper, it cannot be moved except by the placer (claimed by GaWoosh)
  • Lurid scroll which appears blank to friends and loved ones (claimed by Phasmo)
  • Wizard's Hourglass- user contols the follow the sand inside (claimed by Fancy)
  • Black timber chairs each expertly carved with images tied to one of the seven Archons of Law inlaid with gold 7 x 1,000gp
  • A tapestry depicting the Third Warden of Ur-Dan battling a monster made of stars woven from weft threads of wool, silk, and gold or silver worth 1,000gp
  • Crystal casket carved to look like the head of a dragon worth 5,000gp
  • The golden regalia of the Warden of Ur-Dan worth (given to GaWoosh by the spirit of the Third Warden) worth 2500gp
  • 4 urns and 2 boxes made of porcelain and decorated with gold leaf, star rose quartz, and moonstones containing incomplete research on a ritual to banish the Oloth El'gg Ssusson and an assortment of alchemical salts, shiny black candles, and ash of a mistletoe. The research can be used for Non-Magical research downtime activities on the Oloth El'gg Ssusson. The containers are worth 2,000 gp all together while the salts are worth an additional 500gp.
  • A rock of an unusual pink crystal (with psychic effects when vapors form a heated crystal are inhaled)
  • An engraved dagger with a drop-shaped ruby inlaid into the handle (from the corpse in the caves beyond the crack). The dagger has a hollow handle that contains a small rolled up piece of paper with a cataloging number from a library written on it. 
  • 6gp and 25sp in odd pocket change

The crystal casket, the tapestry, the chairs, and urns and baskets can be sold in one of the City-States of Ur-Dan outright for 1/2 their value just for the materials they are made from. "Cwedri a Crî" is only worth 100gp to a gnome, bard, or a buyer interested in the performing arts. Full value in gp can be made with a Find the Right Buyer downtime action used for each category of item.

We will discuss what, if any downtime actions party members may want to take in Soot Hill at the start of Session #71.
