Dragon Slayers of the Drinking Crow Session #42- The Death of Amu Iben

Another week and another plan to defeat the Eye of Terror by the Dragon Slayers that frequent the Drinking Crow. The group decides to try to make good on their promises to the Brothers to slay the eye of terror. They party is one adventurer larger. The following group is seen grabbing a barrel of sleeping gas from Sweet Dreams' inventory on their way towards the beach and the Iron Gate:

  • Amu Iben (Level 1 Half-Elf)
    • Rex (Level 1 Ne'er-Do-Well retainers)
    • Akash and Avani (a pair of dungeon terriers)
  • Copra Kaan (Level 6 Vat Spawn)
  • Crambo (Level 3 Magic-User)
    • Axel (Level 0 Man-At-Arms)
  • Father Bert (Level 2 Errant Friar)
    • Chauncey (Level 0 Orphan hireling)
  • Petra P (Level 2 Elf)
    • Yeoman Klang (Level 2 Thief hireling)
The group returned with the bodies of Amu Iben and Axel. Amu with a deep sword wound in a joint of his full plate while Axel run through with a spear. Also with them is a very hungry and very tired mutant with blue gray fur named Agera. Before Amu is even in the ground, Rex makes off with his former employers possessions. Before he splits town, he pawns off Amu's newly aquired dungeon terriers Akash and Avani on to Petra P. He also abandons Amu's bag of ten doses of rat poison. The party's barrel of sleeping gas was unused.

The following note was found near Amu's gravesite, covered in a strange ichor:

-Kill a guard with a headbutt. 
-Free a mutant. 
-Loot some guards.
-Leave The Complex. 

Crambo must pay the Exalted 111th Company of Orm 100gp in wereguild to for the deceased guild member Axel. Should Crambo not pay the wereguild, he will be banned from hireling members of the 111th.

Downtime Activity- Find the Right Buyer

  Dungeons are packed with treasure. After all, isn't that why adventurers decide to plumb their depths? While treasure finds of items that spend easily like coins of precious metals, gems, and jewelry often make up the winnings of successful adventuring expeditions; they are not the only items of value a party will haul back to the surface world.  Eager to make the most out of a group's expeditions, they often grab anything that looks like one could turn over for a quick coin or two. To turn such items into gold, though, adventurers have to locate an interested party to sell these art objects, non-magical tomes, trade goods, and other valuable dungeon oddities. Downtime in the Twilight Age

Outside of sessions at the table, time in the Twilight Age moves at a pace that matches our own. So one week passed in our world = one week passed in the Twilight age. This, combined with the proscription of ending each play session outside of danger, will mean players will find their characters with time to kill back in Orm between adventures at the table. What Is There Even To Do In Orm? Below is a list of downtime activities players can pursue between sessions.
