Burning Witch Adventurers Session #50- Into the Fryer

Update Map of the Great Cavern


 The Riverborn Scamandros, fresh from a wild round of carousing along the Twilight Shores, returns to the mortal realm eager to revisit the Great Cavern last explored two fort nights ago. The Great Cavern being a vast unexplored area, it was not hard for the Magician to pull together a crew to join him. The following party was seen walking along the beach headed towards that peculiar patch of black grass:

  •  Abraxis (Level 3 Fighting Mutant)
  • Frim Frimerson (Level 2 Fighter)
  • Hate Pit (Level 3 Vat Spawn)
  • Journeyman Crannoc (Level 4 Magic-User)
  • Scamandros (Level 4 Magic-User)
    • Kiddo (Level 3 Magic-User)
The party returned over a day later, exhausted and smelling like an odd combo of stagnate vegetation and fried food. They were carrying more strange arms and armor too large to fit members of the adventuring population of Orm. Currently, the party seems pretty mum about the details of their expedition though Frim Frimerson will tell anyone about how good deep fried vampire frogs legs are.

Downtime Activity- Find the Right Buyer

  Dungeons are packed with treasure. After all, isn't that why adventurers decide to plumb their depths? While treasure finds of items that spend easily like coins of precious metals, gems, and jewelry often make up the winnings of successful adventuring expeditions; they are not the only items of value a party will haul back to the surface world.  Eager to make the most out of a group's expeditions, they often grab anything that looks like one could turn over for a quick coin or two. To turn such items into gold, though, adventurers have to locate an interested party to sell these art objects, non-magical tomes, trade goods, and other valuable dungeon oddities. Downtime in the Twilight Age

Outside of sessions at the table, time in the Twilight Age moves at a pace that matches our own. So one week passed in our world = one week passed in the Twilight age. This, combined with the proscription of ending each play session outside of danger, will mean players will find their characters with time to kill back in Orm between adventures at the table. What Is There Even To Do In Orm? Below is a list of downtime activities players can pursue between sessions. Most take one week to perform and those that don't will say in their rules (like magical research). Details for each activity are linked into the action title below.
