Burning Witch Adventurers Session #44- The Panty-Raider Party Crew

Once again, the vat spawn adventurer Copra Kaan made his way from the harbor and through the square where the Monument of the Gods stood to walk into the Burning Witch. Another adventure was afoot and the gathering party was looking for members. The discussion centered around delving back down to Level 3. The plan settled upon using the western elevator to explore uncharted northern sections of that level of 'The Complex'. The following left in the direction of the beach:

  • Copra Kaan (Level 3 Vat Spawn)
  • Crambo (Level 1 Magic-User)
  • Fancy Jean-Yves Beauviller (Level 4 Bard)
    • Freedom (Sapient Cat)
    • DT (dungeon terrier)
    • Two unamed vampiric frogs, deceased
    • Smokey Proag (Level 1 Halfling hireling)
  • Scamandros (Level 4 Magic-User)
    • Kiddo (Level Magic-User retainer)
The party returned with stuffed pockets and full bags but without magic-users Crambo and Scamandros. Fnacy's player Josh summed up the events of the delve with the following call to form up a rescue party over in #buring-witch on the Discord:

Fancy and Kiddo arrive at the Burning-witch late in the evening. As Fancy wipes sweat from his brow with a handkerchief featuring two hastily stitched frog caricatures, he tells a harrowing tale of his comrades being pursued around every corner by gargoyles, slimes, lion-beast-men, and The Imperial Momma herself. "I didn't come here tonight just to brag about our talent for fleeing. I came here tonight to gather a rescue party."

Fancy throws off his tunic, stained red from the spurting brachial artery of a lion-beast-man, and says "Scamandros and Crambo are still down there. I don't know their condition, but if they are alive, we need to fetch them back from the cruel embrace of the Imperial Momma. Who is with me?"

Oh yeah... did I mention we tore out her eyes? If anyone is so inclined to strike at The Momma and her holdings, now may be the best time. 'Cause, you know, A frog tore out her fucking eyes. It was glorious.
The survivors of the expedition also report that the Imperial Mother is offering a 1000gp for the capture of the a peeping tom identified from the wanted poster by Copra as Dogmouth.

Meanwhile, the following slip of paper was stuck to a mug over at the Drinking Crow:

Copra Kään’s To-Do List:

-Make a new friend: Crambo!
-Find a glowing altar.
-Run from some gargoyles.
-Rob the Imperial Mother (again!).
-Get caught in the act.
-Run for our lives.
-Make it out of The Complex (most of us, anyways).
-Mourn the potential loss of two friends.
