Dragon Slayers of the Drinking Crow Session #73- The Unfinished Business of a Ghost

Most of the Red Riders continued fill their lives with tasks other than adventuring. Copra Kaan continued his path of offering his services to the 111th Company of Orm in hopes of making amends. Crambo was still absent from the Crow as he toiled away to create his first original spell. Bludoon's focus remained locked in on his food stall, the Last Meal. Armeen was guiding Chauncy through his studies of the practices of the clergy of Danu.

Petra P was drowning her troubles at the Drinking Crow. In her time between adventures, she had started to make a name for herself doing street performances with her dungeon terriers and magic elephant. Her budding popularity has seen a bunch of copy cat acts start up, all hoping to make some quick coin off the craze she started. She needed to done something soon to distinguish her act or she would become lost in the shuffle.

The only other Red Rider to join Petra was Fr. Bert, eager to discover what he had missed in his time focusing on his smoked meat stall in the market. Bors and Bex joined them to fill Bert in. Bors continued to be haunted by the unfinished business of the spirit the adventurers have finally brought peace to in the river caves on Level 3 of 'The Complex'. The drunken mystic had been on a quest to slay some foul spider beast when he slipped and fell to his death. Yes, the party Bors had been in had given the ghost's body a proper send off but this quest remained. The rest of the group agreed to aid Bors in setting this business right. They formed the following party to head into those river caves once again:

  • Bex (Level 2 Vat Spawn)
  • Bors Redbeard (Level 5 Dwarf)
    • Sunya Strong (Level 5 Fighter hireling)
  • Fr. Bert (Level 5 Friar Friar of Arishem the Judge)
  • Petra P (Level 3 Elf)
    • Akash and Avani (dungeon terriers)
The party returned through the Iron Gate of the Rani half a day later. They were wet, covered in mud and web, and smelled like smoke. They handed 142 gp and 5 sp in taxes on their way out. Accompanying them were two youths. One dusky blue-gray skinned maiden named Teela Rin and Hemos of the Children of Peroma. The only thing more obvious in their hero worship of the party was the affection they held for each other. First thing, the whole group took an obscured staff to the Loan Bank to be stored safety in the vaults. After dividing up shares of loot, they went their separate ways. The clinking of glass upon glass could be heard from Petra's bag as she walked away.

Bors and Fr. Bert worked to get the parties pair of rescuees adjusted to life in Orm. Hemos join Bert at his stall, joining his fellow tribe member in the operation's effort to feed the orphans of Orm. Bors brought Teela Rin to his cousin Gabby's tavern to learn the ropes at the Drinking Crow
