A second full moon hangs over Orm this month. With it comes the latest news around Orm:

The Black Pyramid Arrives!-- Orm's wastrels, mystics, and visionares report visions of an ethereal black pyramid when the late summer moon turned full. The profound feels of cosmic dread they all share marks one thing- the Black Pyramid now visits this realm. What exactly is the Black Pyramid, most cannot say. Beggar prophets share word of the Black Pyramid bringing increased chances of rare encounters into ones life. The Archwizard of the Transcendental Congress of Aureate Precepts has sent warning to seater holders in Orm to be cautious--signs point to profound risks being linked to this extraplanar structure.

Castora Cup Announced-- The knightly Order of the Dragon is to host the first annual Castora Cup Challenge this Hunter's Moon. The contest will be held in an open air challenge dungeon constructed in the ruins of Orm-of-Old. Teams of five adventurers, each representing a virtue of the five dragons of the Order, can gain sponsorship from members of the court of the Impossible Fortress to compete. Winners will receive 1000gp each and possession of the cup for one year. Second place wins 500gp each. Third place wins 100gp each. Teams will be scored on time, party survival, and monsters defeated.

In related news, the Bronze Dragon Galatea will pay adventurers for monsters captured leading up to the event. The creatures must still be alive and safely delivered to the Bronze Dragon encampment for rewards to be distributed.

Mutants Returned--A small party of Children of Peroma has been successfully returned to their tribe in the underworld known as 'The Complex'. The Midnight Marauders (sans their member Ferris) collected small reward to bring them home. After the escort mission. the Marauders celebrated the success in Riverwine. They could be overheard saying that remnants of the Eye of Terror's forces are keeping the tyrant's ideology alive in 'The Complex'. They also were heard saying that in spite of this, the Children of Peroma look forward to returning to lives centered on harmony with 'The Complex' and spiritual growth through unlocking the natures of their true selves.

Imposter Assassins in the Impossible Fortress!-- Suspicions are running high in the nearby Impossible Fortress. A changeling intruder was caught assaulting one of the Wards of the local regent The Rani. News of similar infiltrations in Orm proper has the powers in the Fortress scrambling trying to root out any similar beings that might be inside the Impossible Fortress' population.

Downtime Activity- Find the Right Buyer

  Dungeons are packed with treasure. After all, isn't that why adventurers decide to plumb their depths? While treasure finds of items that spend easily like coins of precious metals, gems, and jewelry often make up the winnings of successful adventuring expeditions; they are not the only items of value a party will haul back to the surface world.  Eager to make the most out of a group's expeditions, they often grab anything that looks like one could turn over for a quick coin or two. To turn such items into gold, though, adventurers have to locate an interested party to sell these art objects, non-magical tomes, trade goods, and other valuable dungeon oddities. Downtime in the Twilight Age

Outside of sessions at the table, time in the Twilight Age moves at a pace that matches our own. So one week passed in our world = one week passed in the Twilight age. This, combined with the proscription of ending each play session outside of danger, will mean players will find their characters with time to kill back in Orm between adventures at the table. What Is There Even To Do In Orm? Below is a list of downtime activities players can pursue between sessions. Most take one week to perform and those that don't will say in their rules (like magical research). Details for each activity are linked into the action title below.
