Dragon Slayers of the Drinking Crow Session #40

After a return to 'The Complex' the previous week, the adventuring group operating out of the Drinking Crow (sometimes call 'Dragon Slayers') found their thirst for adventure renewed. Their gnome rescuee, Buddy B. Barksdale, had shared a hefty pile of intelligence on the goings on in the first three levels of the underground.  The group, having taken a dislike to the forces of the Eye of Terror, decided to return to the cliffside entrance to hunt them down on Level 1. The following group was spied passing through the iorn door the Rani installed in the cliff face:
  • Amu Iben (Level 1 Half-Elf)
    • Rex (Level 1 Ne'er-do-well Retainer)
  • Father Bert (Level 2 Errant Friar of Arisham the J udge)
  • Petra P (Level 2 Elf)
  • Willow the Wisp (Level 3 Illusionist)
    • Yeoman Klang (Level 2 Thief hireling)
The party returned an hour and a half later. While all lived, several were covered in goo and Father Bert's face was covered in small, circular bruises. More importantly, the group returned without discovering any treasure. Yeoman Klang wandered off on his own.

A few days later, Klang was rumored to escape a raid by the Orm Civil Defense Force on an speakeasy on the edge of Orm. Several of the reprobates rounded up were over heard discussing wild stories Klang was telling before the raid. Tales of octopus-like monstrosities crawling upon walls and gnomish moon-shiners.

Downtime Activity- Find the Right Buyer

  Dungeons are packed with treasure. After all, isn't that why adventurers decide to plumb their depths? While treasure finds of items that spend easily like coins of precious metals, gems, and jewelry often make up the winnings of successful adventuring expeditions; they are not the only items of value a party will haul back to the surface world.  Eager to make the most out of a group's expeditions, they often grab anything that looks like one could turn over for a quick coin or two. To turn such items into gold, though, adventurers have to locate an interested party to sell these art objects, non-magical tomes, trade goods, and other valuable dungeon oddities. Downtime in the Twilight Age

Outside of sessions at the table, time in the Twilight Age moves at a pace that matches our own. So one week passed in our world = one week passed in the Twilight age. This, combined with the proscription of ending each play session outside of danger, will mean players will find their characters with time to kill back in Orm between adventures at the table. What Is There Even To Do In Orm? Below is a list of downtime activities players can pursue between sessions. Most take one week to perform and those that don't will say in their rules (like magical research). Details for each activity are linked into the action title below.
