Dragon Slayers of the Drinking Crow Session #24- More Stone Cold Adventure

 The petrified Fredrick Featherstone stood in a place of honor at the Drinking Crow with his faithful ghost hound Gregor (also petrified) next to him. With Fredrick currently a piece of statuary and Bors Redbeard away taking care of some family business, the Dragon Slayers needed to increase their numbers. They weighed their possibilites as Copra Kaan distributed out the shares of recent sales of Sleepy Time. Much to Malagath Finbaros' displeasure, the rest of his group took a liking to a elf recently arrived in Orm- Petra...Pigeon...or...Puddington...or Partridge...it was definitely Petra P.

As they welcomed Petra into their numbers, the group discussed a return to 'The Complex' only to quickly fall into indecision. Copra Kaan piped in that he wouldn't mind exploring more of those doors around the sphinxes they rescued last time. If that, the group following headed north, through the ruins of Orm-of-Old and into the cellar dungeon entrance:

  • Copra Kaan (Level 5 Vat Spawn)
  • Malagath Finbaros (Level 3 Elf)
    • The Sargent (Level 0 Woman-at-Arms hireling)
  • Petra P. (Level 1 Elf)
  • Willow the Wisp (Level 3 Illusionist)
    • Yggi (Level 0 Wastrel hireling), deceased
The party returned looking much the worse for wear. They were bloody and covered in bite marks. Copra's lower half had been replaced with that of a giant ant. Instead of the wastrel Yggi, a stranger in white robes traveled with the party. He could be over heard introducing himself as Dwerleiro. Willow the Wisp left her comrades to acclimate Dwerleiro to the Drinking Crow as she travel up to the hall of the 111th Company to pay a 100gp wereguilt for Yggi.

-Behead a medusa to soften Malagath up.

 Back at the dawning days of autumn, a group of the Red Riders left from the Drinking Crow to journey into the Complex. They aimed to join a pair of lunar elves, Aureal and Ruitat, on their spiritual quest give to them by their Dreaming Tree: journey into the plane-hopping dungeon called the Black Pyramid. Visions of this foreboding structure had plagued the citizens of Orm for over a year. They grew more ominous and vivid with each passing day until it had materialized within the Great Cavern.
