Burning Witch Adventurers Session #47- The Party Reports a Broken Elevator

A group of Burning Witch regulars sat around the tavern's common table swapping tales of recent disparate excursions into the nearby underworld known as 'The Complex'. Nearby listeners hear mention of minor excursions into a giant cavern level, possible merchant caravans to a city through a portal, and encounters with strange elves that talked about ships that moved between planes. While talk of ventures towards places beyond Orm were discussed in passing, the following group decided to pay a visit to the market of the Brothers to pick up the latest scuttlebutt around the dungeon:

  • Betina (Level 3 Fighter)
    • Palla (Level 0 Amazon hireling)
  • Glow Pit (Level 1 Vat Spawn)
  • Journeyman Crannoc (Level 4 Magic-User)
    • Armunn Drum (Level 1 Cleric of the Watch)
  • PakPak (Level 4 Kobold)
  • Wolfgang (Level 3 Duelist)
The group returned, some covered in bites and scratches, with little treasure to show for their troubles. The group went to Golden Googles before returning to the Witch. Glow Pit could be overheard talking about adding "...the ring to the lending library at the halfway house." The Magician known as Journeyman Crannoc carried a strange silver suit to the Athenaeum while PakPak carried another off to his ShopShop.

As PakPak walked passed the Monument to the Old Gods, he found himself parsing over an instruction he received from Foreman, "GaWoosh should check the box". PakPak didn't know what the box was but even worse, he didn't remember when the instruction was given to him by the Foreman. He recalled Crannoc asking about purchasing a means for moving down the broken elevator shaft and Glow Pit asking with the leader of the Brothers about the black grass but he could not place these instructions...

 Back at the dawning days of autumn, a group of the Red Riders left from the Drinking Crow to journey into the Complex. They aimed to join a pair of lunar elves, Aureal and Ruitat, on their spiritual quest give to them by their Dreaming Tree: journey into the plane-hopping dungeon called the Black Pyramid.
