Adventures of the Drinking Crow Session #13- Dragon Slayers!!!

Last time the adventurers from the Drinking Crow entered the Complex, they came back with a literal mound of treasure. This seems to have lead to a bit of decrease in their sense of urgency planning their next delve. As they walked across the harbor, the following party could be heard still discussing plans:
  • Bors Redbeard (Level 2 Dwarf)
  • Fredrick Featherstone (Level 2 Vestigator)
  • Malagath Finbaros (Level 1 Elf)
    • "Aldopho" (aka Many-Faced Gene Level 1 Assassin hireling) 
  • V'Naïss Two-Face (Level 2 Vatspawn)
  • Willow the Wisp (Level 1 Illusionist)
    • Mr. Fantastic (dungeon terrier)
The party returned with a cart piled high with treasure and a one-armed Brothers known as "No. 47" in tow. Bors' armor was scorched and his beard singed.

The following scrap of paper was found on the ground next to the cart after it was emptied:

V’naïss Two-Face’s To-Do List:
1. Pay someone to research Huugal Aereth (the guy whose skull I found).
2. Listen to some red mosquitoes talk about communism.
3. Meet some dwarves.
4. Agree to slay a dragon who’s a real dick all the time (and save the dwarves’ friend).
5. HELP SLAY THE DRAGON WHO’S A REAL DICK ALL THE TIME!!!
6. Get an unbelievable haul of treasure.
7. Get the dragon’s fire glands.
8. Incorporate the dragon’s fire glands into my throat!
9. BE ABLE TO BREATHE FIRE!

After a few days unseen, Many-Faced Gene is spotted in a few backroom games of chance around Orm. He gloats about being a "Rutterkin" now as he tells an outlandish tale involving him disguising himself as a pile of treasure and how a terrier killed a dragon. He also shares that he knows a secret way into Level 3 of "The Complex". Luck seems to favor Gene as he comes out of his tear of carousing and gambling with a deed to a small house in Orm.

  • 1897gp 5sp ea. (minus 1265gp finders fee to Lt. Sam along with a 1/2 share each to Many-Faced Gene and No. 47)
  • 2695xp ea.
Reminder: Characters are only able to advance one level per session. If enough experience is acquired to gain two levels, the character obtains experience equal to just 1xp short of that second level.

Session write-ups, art, or maps are worth 100 x level xp. Let me know what each of you are doing with all that gold (i.e. how are you making it safe/where are you putting it because it is too much to carry) along with any downtime activities down in the comments.

    Bors is going to invest 1500 gold into the Drinking Crow, he was also going to see if Gabby will hire 47 to help around the bar, or help 47 find meaningful work. I'll have to get home to my dice to roll with a+1
