Burning Witch Adventurers Session #12

Two new adventurers joined the table of some proven explorers of seaside dungeon often referred to as "The Complex". The quickly came to a consensus that after a quick detour to the market of the Brothers, they would plunge on into the depths of underground structure in seeking of treasure. The party consisted of:
  • Avreml Oofnik (Level 1 Thief)
  • Castora (Level 1 Knight of the Order of the Dragon)
  • Dingy (Level 1 Dwarf)
  •  Feeble Finn (Level 1 Dwarf)
  • Thea Noir (Level 1 Thief)
Castora, an armiger and member of the Order of the Dragon

A third dwarven adventure that has arrived in Orm.

Castora lost an eye and Dingy survived an explosion.

The Elfin Prisoner Known as the "Nighthawk"

From the chambers of the Prophet of the Illuminated Eye (also called En'Wni), the party saved an elfin lady. She bored signs of torture under the hands of members of the Order of the Illuminated Eye. She introduces herself as the thief known as "The Nighthawk". The party does not inquire as to why she is currently being tortured by the Order and she offers no answers. While she is grateful for their aid, she is eager to return to her fellow members of the Crooked Hand on Level 3 of Zeress tel Mor (what she uses to refer to what is commonly referred to by adventurers as "The Complex").

The party was eager to follow "The Nighthawk" to Level Three-- the deepest any adventurer would have delved yet--but heavily injured laden with four heavy iron trunks filled with coins, they instead asked how could they visit "Nighthawk" and her band of thieves in the future. The thief quickly drew a rough map guiding them to the foyer of the 3rd Level and instructions on how to called forth the Crooked Hand on that level. Before handing the map over, "The Nighthawk" says, "Don't trust the thieves in Orm that say they are the Crooked Hand. Their tongues wage backwards. These instructions can never fall into their hands."

With that, "The Nighthawk" silently slipped into the darkness of the hall of the dungeon complex.

Downtime

Let me know in the comments below if you have any downtimes you would like to pursue. I know that Feeble Finn has paid the loan bank 1000gp to pay off his new prosthetic leg (Rob--he still can take a downtime in addition to this)

Jesse: do you still want to have Avreml steal the beets? If you want to develop a beet farm, this is the way you'll do it. Hiring two porters (Broham and Ballum Lugh) and two mercenary guards (Ervis and Shira) is 6gp per month.
